This beautiful common seal pup, a little male named Quince, was found abandoned on the Dromore West coastline this summer, and stayed overnight with the Walton’s from VOYA Seaweed Baths for initial R&R - before making his cross country trip to @sealrescueireland supported by a network of passionate volunteers.
He immediately started rehabilitation provided by Seal Rescue Irelands hardworking team of experienced volunteers based in Courttown, Gorey, County Wexford.
We understand Quince has moved from the baths into the pools at the centre, and hopefully he will be release back into the Atlantic Ocean here in Sligo in the coming months.
